I finally got around to blogging my husband and I’s trip to Nashville! We visited this past February it already felt like Spring there with all of the beautiful magnolias and daffodils blooming, it was lovely! It surely was hard to leave the warm weather to come back to Colorado’s winter but it was fine. Nashville has a lot of tasty eats, fun breweries, the Johnny Cash museum, and plenty of live music at historic venues! There is also some really cool architecture and a very pretty botanic garden (Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art) it is a fun town for sure, can’t wait to visit again one day!
In April my husband and our best friend traveled to the land of fire and ice…Iceland! We didn’t travel completely around the ring road but did stay in and see some pretty spectacular views from the places we did visit! It’s crazy to see so many waterfalls, icebergs, beaches, volcanoes, birds, horses, and seals in one place! We also saw our mix of weather: snow, sun, rain, mist, freezing rain, overcast, and wind! Got to love that Icelandic wind… now onto the photos!
I can’t believe it has taken me 11 months to blog these photos! I am a slow poke at blogging personal events it seems. I also can’t believe it has almost been an entire year since my husband and I listed Giverny, France. Giverny is the home to Claude Monet and his famous gardens which were depicted in his paintings back in the day, including the infamous lily pads. It was truly one of the best experiences of my life to visit these gardens and to see in person the beauty that Monet was so inspired by. It was definitely one of the best days of our trip! I want to go back, I wish I was there right now!
It has taken me many months to blog these photos but I have finally got around to it! This past fall my husband and I traveled to France and this is a collection of what we saw in Paris! It was my first time in France so we of course had to hit up many of the iconic stops such as Musée d’Orsay, The Louvre, Jardin du Luxembourg, Jardin des Tuileries, Sainte-Chapelle, and Notre Dame. We also visited Monet’s Garden outside of town (this will be it’s own separate post eventually) and Versailles too!
